Join the club! Adventure Science Center invites young scientists ages 12-14 to participate in a new program where they can go in-depth with exciting science concepts and meet new friends.

For our next term, the Science Explorers Club will investigate biological systems. Club members will look at characteristics of different animals (scorpion, frog, sheep, pig, etc.) and will compare and contrast organ functions using science process skills. Dissections of real specimens will give club members experience using science tools and accelerate their learning in human anatomy and physiology.

Sessions will be held on the following Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m.:

April 27Introduction to lab tools and procedures
May 11The 6 levels of organization; squid dissection
May 25A look at cells and tissues
June 8Organs and organ systems; sheep heart dissection
