Bridge check-in at 10:00 a.m., bridge testing begins at approximately 10:45am, competition should last approximately 2 hours

For fun! And cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
WHO:
High school students in Middle Tennessee*
Each school may send a maximum of five entries
· In-school competitions may be held to choose the top five bridges if more students wish to participate
· American Society of Civil Engineers will provide the wood kits for five bridges for each participating public school
Winner: Bridge with the highest structural efficiency, E.

* NOTE: Adventure Science Center will grant free admission for each competitor, plus two guests. The free guest passes will be available to each competitor upon check-in at Adventure Science Center at the time of the event. Teachers are always free with proof of ID. All other guests attending the event must pay general admission to the center.
This is a regional qualifying competition. The top two finalists will be eligible to compete in the international competition to be held in Chicago.
