You and your young scientist (age 3-5) are invited to participate in age-appropriate lab activities, science craft, a movement activity and story time -- all designed to strengthen emerging skills and ignite curiosity in young minds. Each lab lasts approximately 45 minutes. Spring 2013 Series All labs begin at 11 a.m. and last approximately 45 minutes. Germ-Fighters |  May 22 & 25 Bacteria, viruses, germs – Oh my! Learn what makes the human body sick, how to prevent illness, and how to fight the spread of germs. The Butterfly Effect | June 26 & 29 Winging, flinging, dancing and springing... You were once a wiggly caterpillar and now a beautiful butterfly! Come experience the butterfly effect, the metamorphosis of the caterpillar to the butterfly, and other insects. Sea Creatures | July 17 & 20 Get on the water cycle and ride with “Drop” as he journeys to different environments and examines the animals that live in the water where he explores. Little Labbers will experiment with water and discover how water creatures survive. RESERVATIONS: Three ways to register- 1.    Register online now. Please turn off and put away phones and pagers while attending the lab. Any younger siblings in attendance must be confined to a stroller for the duration of the lab. Excessively disruptive behavior may result in a participant being asked to leave the session. No refund will be granted. Refund policy: Cancellations made by the participant seven (7) days in advance of the workshop date will receive a full refund. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) days in advance. Cancellation policy: In case of insufficient number of registered participants, Adventure Science Center reserves the right to cancel any program three days prior to the day of session. All registered participants will receive a full refund. Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, participants should check the ASC web site before leaving home, or call the main phone line at 615-862-5160.
