Math + Art = MATH-sterpieces! 

It's full STEAM ahead in our Forbes Gallery where you can see incredible works of math-inspired art created right here in Middle Tennessee! Gain inspiration from these local artists and add your own masterpiece to our display before you leave.

    See how geometry inspired Monica O'Neill's classroom to create beautiful representations of modular arithmetic using a classic Native American tradition.
  • FREEFORM MATHMATICS by St. Bethlehem Elementary students
    Drawing inspiration from different areas of mathematics, like ratio and proportion, Elizabeth French's classroom crafted incredible original pieces of art.

    Witness how Emily Sue drew inspiration from fractals, cosmology and the natural world to create remarkable UV-reactive artworks. (pictured)

    Inspired by the movement of mathematical spirals, see how Jeremy interprets growth, success and the future.

    In this display, Omar showcases the geometrical capabilities of 3D printed art with pieces curated and printed in our Innovation Incubator (I2).

    Adventure Science Center's Art2STEM program introduces middle school girls to STEM careers by tapping into their natural attraction to art. In March, our program participants will be adding a stunning new work of art to the Math Inspires Art display.
