What is Planned Giving?

Simply put, planned giving is making arrangements now for a charitable gift in the future. Usually, though not always, it is a part of a comprehensive estate plan.

Planning your estate enables you to look at the people and organizations that are most important to you, and gives you the opportunity to make a real difference for them. An estate plan is not only financially wise, it gives you control of your legacy.

Planned gifts can be complicated, but they don’t have to be. While those with complex asset and tax situations can benefit from some of the more complicated gift vehicles, some planned gifts can be executed in a matter of minutes without the need to hire professionals. Whatever your situation, Adventure Science Center can help you think through options, provide examples and calculations, and work with you to achieve your goals.

Statistics show that the majority of Americans die without even a basic will. This can create headaches for heirs and loved ones, and stop the dreams and wishes of the departed. We want to help. Please contact us to start—or continue your planning today.
