July 2018  |  Kalen Cheatham

Why do you love being a part of Youth CR3W?

It broadens my knowledge in many aspects of math and science. I also love working at the Adventure Science Center camps and teaching the children how to love science as much as I do.

What inspired you to join Youth CR3W?

I wanted to expand my interests in a science field of study and I felt that it would help me develop more people skills.

Youth CR3W

More than just another extracurricular, Youth CR3W is a program that prepares Nashville teens for college and the working world. Students are encouraged to apply as high school freshmen, committing to the program for four years. However, any high school student is welcome to apply for this exciting program! Pronounced “crew,” the “3” in CR3W represents three E’s: engage, explore, and explain. Learn more»

Youth CR3W applications are accepted from any high school student (rising freshmen through seniors) each fall.
