5 REASONS TO ATTEND RED, WHITE & BOOM by Laura Braden, Events Coordinator

Looking for an opportunity to enjoy Nashville's breathtaking fireworks show with your family without all the crowds and traffic of downtown? Look no further than Adventure Science Center's annual Red, White & BOOM July 4th event! This family-friendly event is both fun and educational, providing indoor and outdoor activities for guests of all ages up until the first firework lights up the night sky.

Check out our Top 5 Reasons to attend this dynamic event...

1. A Clear View of the Nashville Fireworks without the Downtown Crowd

From Adventure Science Center's vantage point on our little hill, only a few short miles from Riverfront Park, we have pristine views of the downtown fireworks lighting up the sky with a gorgeous view of the Nashville skyline in the background. Don't worry about missing the Nashville Symphony's accompaniment to the show, as we will have a live music feed playing along!

2. Live, Explosive Science Demonstrations and Interactive Exhibits

While waiting for the firework show to begin, spend your evening discovering all Adventure Science Center has to offer. Traverse our solar system in the Space Chase, experience what it feels like to walk on the moon at the Moonwalk exhibit, practice being a surgeon in Body Quest, or strengthen your puzzle solving skills in the temporary Beyond Rubik’s Cube exhibit. Be sure to grab a front row seat for one of our educator-led live science demonstrations happening throughout the night!

3. Rock Out to Your Favorite Summer Songs in the Planetarium

Think the Sudekum Planetarium only has shows about space? Think again! Throughout the evening, enjoy a showing of Summer Laze, where you can get in the 4th of July spirit by listening to your favorite summer songs while watching amazing laser designs dance across the Planetarium dome. Featured songs include Living La Vida Loca (Ricky Martin), Surfin' USA (The Beach Boys), and of course, Katy Perry's Firework!

4. FREE Parking

You read that correctly – Adventure Science Center offers free parking to all guests! Minimize the stress of finding parking on this busy holiday by being guaranteed a parking space for you and your family

5. Enjoy Quality Time with Friends and Family

Whether inside the exhibits or relaxing on the lawn, spend the evening with your loved ones. Feel free to bring your own food or purchase your meal from one of the on-site food trucks, lay out your picnic blanket, and enjoy your evening.
