Camps at Adventure Science Center

Adventure Science Center's mission is to open every mind to the wonders of science and technology, fostering a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Our camp programs are an exemplary example of our mission in action! Adventure Science Center camps provide a safe, fun, memorable, and educational experience where campers actively discover and examine STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) concepts themselves. We inspire a life-long passion for learning and foster an environment for creative problem-solving, teamwork, curiosity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities, exciting experiments, and scientific explorations!

Throughout the year, we offer day-long and week-long camps. Overnight camps are not available at this time. Read more and register below for our upcoming sessions of Camp at Adventure Science Center!

UPCOMING CAMPS

Labor Day Camp: Química - Monday, September 2

Campers will step into the lab and learn about the exciting world of chemistry! Donning lab coats, goggles, and gloves, our lab assistants will work alongside their camp counselors to experiment with chemical reactions and observe the changes they see. Experiments include acid-base, color-changing, and capillary action reactions.

Fall Break Camp: Espacio - October 7 to October 11

Get ready to blast off into the cosmos and explore outer space in this out-of-this-world camp. Campers will explore the science of astronomy through hands-on simulations and activities. They will make rovers, launch rockets, and have the opportunity to see a planetarium show in our 63-foot dome theatre.

Winter Break Camp: Tech the Halls - December 30 to January 3*

Batteries, LEDs, capacitors…oh my! This camp introduces campers to the INSIDE world of electronics. Your budding engineers will have the opportunity to take electronics apart and make crafts that move, light up, and make sound, all while learning the basics of coding, electrical components, and how things work.

*Regular camp schedules will occur on New Year's Eve (December 31) and New Year's Day (January 1).
