This August, we're going back in time for our yearly summer camp celebration ... with a prehistoric twist.

Mingle with fellow campers and dinosaur enthusiasts as you sip on themed drinks ($), explore interactive exhibits, and dig into hands-on activities and camp crafts.

TIMED ACTIVITIES

Planetarium Show: Incoming
Asteroids, comets, and meteors and their impact on our planet… & dinosaurs!
Sudekum Planetarium: 7:20pm, 8:00pm, 8:40pm, 9:35pm

Camp Jurassic Road Trip
Join our Jurassic guide (and improv comedians) for a trip you won't soon forget!
Eureka Theater: 7:15pm, 7:45pm, 8:15pm, 8:45pm, 9:15pm

Camp Mess Hall
Our counselors have spent time in the lab mixing liquid nitrogen and grape soda to create the perfect ICE-COLD camp treat. Swing by for a slushie and popcorn. 

Campfire Smores 
Roast marshmallows using soundwaves of the Jurassic Park soundtrack to create your own s'more.

Bone Excavation Lab
Put your paleontology skills to the test – dissect an owl pellet and piece together the remains.

Prehistoric Pampering
Dino adventures can get messy! Unwind by making a custom bath bomb to refresh after a day of exploration.

Camp Craft Center
What’s camp without crafting? Stop by the Maker Space to create a dino-themed keepsake.

Microscope Discoveries
Jurassic Park scientists brought dinosaurs back using blood trapped in amber—now you can explore real insects frozen in time under the microscope.

Camp Olympics
Compete against your camp friends in a series of mental and physical obstacles. Can you win gold?

Where have you been, Tennessee?
Explore the evolutionary history of our state with scientists from Vanderbilt’s Dept. of Earth & Environmental Sciences.

Dinosaur Escape Prep
Planning a trip to Isla Nublar? REI will show you what to pack in your ultimate go-bag—just in case a curious dino wanders too close to camp!
