Grab your friends and family and join Adventure Science Center to celebrate the 4th of July!

Before sitting down on the front lawn to enjoy Nashville’s spectacular fireworks show, we invite ticket holders to explore the air-conditioned science center, take in a science or magic show, and interact with special hands-on activities that examine shiny, sparkly science!

This exclusive evening includes:

• Special after-hours admission to the science center, including the upper parking lot to view the downtown fireworks display.
• Themed indoor hands-on activities and outdoor games.
  • Indoor activities TBA
  • Outdoor activities: Cornhole, checkers, giant connect four, giant bubbles
  • DJ live broadcast of fireworks music
• Live Science Shows
• Magic Shows
• Local food trucks (additional cost) or BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic)
  • Food Vendors TBA

Make the most of the night by adding a planetarium experience.

Shows in the Sudekum Planetarium:

• Vision nocturna ($9) - 6:50 pm
  • What can you see in the sky on the next clear night? Learn how to locate and identify naked-eye constellations, bright stars, planets, and more in this live show! As the skies above us change with the seasons, so does the Nightwatch experience.
  • (Approx 35 min)
    • Ticketholders must be at the planetarium doors no later than 6:45 pm.
• Taylaser ($11) - 7:35 pm
  • What if we told you none of it was accidental? We’ve been scheming like a criminal to bring you all of your favorite Taylor songs from previous eras with laser graphics.
  • (Approx 35 min)
    • Ticketholders must be at the planetarium doors no later than 7:30 pm.
• Laser Prince ($11) - 8:30 pm
  • Hop in your Little Red Corvette and join us in the Sudekum Planetarium! We'll party like it's 1999 and get Delirious with laser lights and the music of Prince! Don't wait, Purple Rain or shine, the show will go on.
  • (Approx 35 min)
    • Ticketholders must be at the planetarium doors no later than 8:25 pm.

Please note: advance planetarium show tickets are only available through combo ticket purchase. Additional show tickets may be available onsite while supplies last.

While Nashville grows, our prices for Red, White, & Boom shrink. Prices for 2025 have been reduced by $5 each.

FAQs and Additional Information:

• Event access is restricted to Red, White, & Boom ticket holders.
• Adventure Science Center will close at 9:00 pm, and guests will move to the outdoor lawn. Restroom access will remain available until 10:00 pm. 
• Fireworks start at approximately 9:30 pm and end around 10:00 pm.
• Note that high-rise buildings may impede portions of the show, but you still enjoy plenty of fireworks without the traffic.
• We have reduced the maximum capacity of the event to allow guests plenty of space to find a nice view.
  • Please note: Standard-height lawn chairs are only allowed on the pavement. The grass area is reserved for blankets and ground-level chairs.
• Fort Negley Blvd. will be closed to through traffic. The parking lot will be accessible at 6:15 pm with proof of ticket purchase.
