Touch-a-Truck

Our wildly-popular, annual Touch-a-Truck event returns this spring. Children (and adults!) will have a chance to see and touch heavy machinery utilized in the construction industry and speak with the people who operate them. We will have a variety of equipment on display and host floor cart activities promoting engineering. This special day is sure to be a ton of fun.

COST: FREE TO ALL AGES!

• Does not include admission to Adventure Science Center.
• Please note: No access to public restrooms is provided without a science center admission ticket

OTHER INFORMATION

• This event will happen rain or shine
• Expect lots of honking, beeping, and sirens, so we recommend wearing noise-canceling headphones if you're sensitive to loud noises. We will have a quieter hour from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with restricted noise.
  • The Autism Clinic at Hope is generously donating 150 over-the-ear headphones for guests to borrow at the event, free of charge!
• Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or using a rideshare
  • 50 of our usual parking spaces will be used for this event
• This event is loud! Individuals with sensory sensitivities should plan accordingly
• If you plan to visit the science center and are NOT attending Touch-a-Truck, we recommend arriving after 2:00 pm for the best experience
