SUMMARY:Green Week
DESCRIPTION:Join us April 10-16th for Green Week\, which coincides with Get Food Smart TN's Food Waste Awareness Week. Engage with community partners Harpeth Conservancy\, Compost Nashville\, Tennessee Environmental Council\, and more to learn about how we can be good stewards of our earth. The science center will also collect E-Waste from the public in the i2 maker space all month. Details regarding what can and cannot be recycled can be found here Adventure Science Center facilitated Activities - throughout the weekRecycle Relay - Trash\, recyclable\, compost? Where does it belong? Visitors will pick up an item and determine which bin it should be placed in and learn about how they can reduce their impact on the environment. What's in the Water? - Testing water is a very important way scientists keep communities healthy.
