DESCRIPTION:Chemistry: Chemists in ActionWeek 1: May 25 - may 29Unlock the secrets of the lab and become a real-life scientist! This week campers will design their very own lab coats\, conduct hands-on experiments\, and explore chemical reactions. Each day\, campers will practice making hypotheses\, observing results\, and drawing conclusions\, just like professional chemists. Through bubbling experiments\, colorful reactions\, and interactive projects\, campers will learn how curiosity and careful observation lead to scientific discoveries\, all while having a blast in the lab! FAQsWhat time is camp?Camp runs from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with check-in running from 8:30 AM  – 9:00 AM and check-out running from 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM. What if I can't make it to the check-in or check-out time?For an additional fee\, Before Care and After Care is available for those needing early check-in or late check-out. \nBefore Care runs from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM. After Care runs from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Any camper dropped off before 8:30 AM or after 4:00 PM will be charged the respective Before or After Care fee. \nBecome a member to save! My Camper is starting Kindergarten. Can they join?Campers attending Adventure Science Center camp must be at least 5 years old and have entered Kindergarten to attend camp.   Should I pack a lunch and snack for my child each day?Adventure Science Center camp does not provide lunch or snacks. Campers should bring a snack with them each day and may either bring their own lunch or order food from our on-site Subway. Subway lunch orders must be completed and paid for on Monday morning for the entire week. \n*Beginning with President's Day Camp 2026\, the on-site Subway will no longer be available as a lunch option. Campers are highly encourage do bring a snack or lunch with them.  Should I send my child with money for the gift shop?We do not encourage campers to bring money to camp. Their camp schedule does not include a stop in the gift shop. Cancellation PolicyWe understand plans change! Please review the following cancellation policies. \nSUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: \nCancel before April 1st -  full refund minus $50.Cancel prior to Week 1 of camp -  50% refundCancel after Week 1 of camp starts -  no refund  \nNON-SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: \n28 days or more from the first day of the camp session - full refund minus $10.More than 14 days in advance first day of the camp session - 50% refundLess than 14 days from the first day of the camp session - no refund  \nRefund requests will be calculated from the delivery date of the request.
