DESCRIPTION:Kitchen Chemistry\nMonday\, November 23\nThe kitchen is one of the best science labs around! \nIn this day camp\, campers will discover the chemistry behind the foods they eat as they mix\, measure\, and experiment. Along the way\, they'll make predictions\, test their ideas\, and uncover the science hiding in their favorite recipes. \nFood Allergy Notice: We want every camper to have a great experience at camp\, not just attend. Because Kitchen Chemistry uses a variety of food ingredients\, we aren't always able to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions. All campers should bring a snack with them each day and may either bring their own lunch or order food from our on-site STRATA Café. STRATA lunch orders must be completed and paid for on Monday morning for the entire week.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShould I send my child with money for the gift shop?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe do not encourage campers to bring money to camp. Their camp schedule does not include a stop in the gift shop.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe understand plans change! Please review the following cancellation policies.\n\nSUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:\n\nCancel before April 1st -  full refund minus $50.\nCancel prior to Week 1 of camp -  50% refund\nCancel after Week 1 of camp starts -  no refund \n\nNON-SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:\n\n28 days or more from the first day of the camp session - full refund minus $10.\nMore than 14 days in advance first day of the camp session - 50% refund\nLess than 14 days from the first day of the camp session - no refund \n\nRefund requests will be calculated from the delivery date of the request. Please email camps@adventuresci.org to request a refund.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCampers With Special Needs\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive camp experience for every camper. We make every effort to support campers with a variety of needs\, though some accommodations may be beyond our capacity. Our Camp Coordinator will follow up to discuss how we can best support your camper.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSubsidized Camp Opportunities\nAdventure Science Center is proud to offer subsidized camp registration fees to families that participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP\, WIC) and the Families First/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs.\n\nHow to Enroll:\n\n 	Fill out the subsidized camp request form here.\n 	Upload proof of aid at the end of the form\, then submit the form.\n 	The camp coordinator will contact parents in the order they apply to our subsidized camp opportunities.\n\nSubsidized camp registrations are available for single-day and week-long Camps. Spots are limited and provided on a first-come\, first-served basis.
