Floor Activities: Step into the Star Wars UniverseDocument your Jedi journey with a photo at our photobooth in the lobby of the science center.Jedi TrainingFossil FrontiersCompete in pod racing\, maneuver through a space obstacle course\, and keep the X-Wing from hitting the Death Star to complete your training.Tatooine Sunset StudioFossil FrontiersCraft a Yoda Ear headband or create a watercolor Star Wars postcard to log your travels.Plus\, enjoy coloring sheet tables throughout the science center!Activities in the i2 Makerspace: We're turning the i2 Makerspace into the Millennium Falcon with special lighting and decorations. Enter this space to make an LED lightsaber and Yoda puppet to aid in your space mission.Costumes are encouraged for this day of celebration. For the safety of our guests\, full-face masks or toys resembling weapons are not allowed. All activities will last all day\, until supplies run out.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 17 | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm\n(Quieter Hour from 9:00 am - 10:00 am)\nOur wildly popular\, Touch-a-Truck event is returning this May. Children (and adults!) will have a chance to see and touch heavy machinery utilized in the construction industry and speak with the people who operate them. We will have various equipment on display and host floor cart activities promoting engineering. This special day is sure to be a ton of fun. \nCOST: FREE TO ALL AGES!\n\nDoes not include admission to Adventure Science Center.\nPlease note: No access to public restrooms is provided without a science center admission ticket\n\nLocation\nAdventure Science Center Parking Lot800 Fort Negley BlvdNashville\, TN 37203 \nOTHER INFORMATION\n\n*This free\, outdoor event is 'rain or shine' and we will proceed with the event barring any unsafe weather conditions.*\nExpect lots of honking\, beeping\, and sirens\, so we recommend wearing noise-canceling headphones if you're sensitive to loud noises. We will have a quieter hour from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with restricted noise.\nParking is limited\, so we recommend carpooling or using a rideshare\n\n50 of our usual parking spaces will be used for this event\n\n\nThis event is loud! Individuals with sensory sensitivities should plan accordingly\nIf you plan to visit the science center and are NOT attending Touch-a-Truck\, we recommend arriving after 2:00 pm for the best experience\nThe Book'em Book Bus will be on-site for Touch-a-Truck\, giving out books to guests at the event. Additionally\, we will help Book'em "Fill the Bus" with pre-used books for others to enjoy.\n\nIf you have gently used books to donate\, we invite you to bring them to Touch-a-Truck and donate them to Book-em's mission!\nBook'em can accept new\, like-new\, or very gently used books in great condition.
