FIRST ® is a robotics community that prepares young people for the future and is the world’s leading youth-serving nonprofit advancing STEM education. FIRST ® LEGO® League Challenge teams prepare all season to compete at regional tournaments\, where judges provide valuable feedback on their robot\, code\, and invention. The Middle TN Qualifier at Adventure Science Center is an opportunity for students to compete as their robots go head-to-head in a friendly competition focused on research\, problem-solving\, coding\, and engineering. Interested in registering your team for this event? All registration and payment processes are done through TNFirst. Plus\, we'll have complimentary solar viewing glasses available for guests with valid day-of General Admission tickets. Partial view of the eclipse is 10:38 am–1:36 pm. COST: INCLUDED IN GENERAL ADMISSIONSaturday\, October 14\, is the next annular solar eclipse. If you're in the path of the eclipse\, you’ll see an ‘annulus’ – meaning the Sun will look like a ring of light\, with the Moon blocking out just the center. Nashville misses this path\, so we won't catch the full annulus\, but it is still an amazing astronomical event you don't want to miss. This special day at the science center is a part of the 2023 Tennessee STEAM Festival. P.S.
