Family STEM Labs | Select Saturdays Each Month
Adventure Science Center offers monthly hands-on STEM labs for friends and families to explore and learn together! This 55-minute lab experience is led by one of our passionate, knowledgeable learning specialists and serves visitors ages 5 and older. Every person participating in the lab must have a ticket for the specific date and time of the Family STEM Lab, along with their General Admission purchase. Adult supervision is required for all children (ages 5-16). Adults attending only to supervise children do not need to purchase a lab ticket.

Participants:
Family STEM Lab participants must be at least 5 years of age. Children ages 5-16 years old must be supervised by an adult. Adults attending only to supervise children, and not participating, do not need to purchase a lab ticket. One adult per 1-4 children is allowed in the lab for supervision.
What to Bring/Wear:
Wear closed-toed shoes
Bring your thinking "cap"

Check-in:
Your lab begins at either 9:30 am or 12:30 pm. Labs will start promptly. Please be in the 3M Learning Lab 10 minutes prior to your lab start time. Do not drop children off at the lab or in the building. Participants ages 5-15 years old must be supervised by an adult in the lab at all times.
Lab Conclusion:
Your lab ends at either 10:25 am or 1:25 pm. Guests may remain in the lab up to 10 minutes after the conclusion of the lab to ask questions, etc.
Absence Policy:
Lab fees are not refundable for absences on the day of the lab.
Behavior Expectations:
We have high expectations for behavior due to the hands-on nature of our labs. Our learning specialist will share lab procedures and behavior expectations at the start of the lab. Children and adults must follow the guidelines and rules presented. Child behavior problems should be addressed by the supervising adult. If a participant's (child or adult) behavior disrupts the lab, disrespects others, or causes safety issues we reserve the right to remove the participant from the lab without a refund.
Cancellation Policy:
0-2 days from start of Family STEM Lab: No refund
3-5 days from the start of Family STEM Lab: 50% refund
6 days or more from the start of Family STEM Lab: Full refund
