This winter break, get ahead in your wizard studies with extra-curriculars at Adventure Science Center School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Prepare for a celebration complete with magical activities, extra-curricular wizard training, and glad tidings for the holiday season. Don your best Yule ball dress and purchase a ticket to join us for Way Late Play Date: Hogwarts Holiday Break on Friday, December 6.

Timed Activities:

• Winter Night Sky Viewing (Sudekum Planetarium)
  • 7:20, 8:00, 8:45, and 9:30 pm
• Charms: Live Science Show (Eureka Theater)
  • 7:30, 8:30, 9:00, and 9:30 pm

Open Extracurricular Activities:

• Socks for Dobby
  • Get in the gifting spirit and earn house points by bringing a brand-new* pair of socks to donate to Soles4Souls.
  • *All socks must be new, unused, and unopened.
• Yule Ball
  • Don your best Hogwarts or holiday attire, complete a themed "Mad Libs" to write a letter about the night, and join in on a celebratory silent disco.
• House Sorting
  • Receive a pin to denote your house. Or, if you need to determine your house, a quiz will be available to find your best match.
• Wand Making Shop
  • Are you like Ron? Did you break your wand this semester? Ollivander's is holding a special pop-up shop where students can fix and make their own wands.
• Magic & Spells
  • Stop by and witness magic, a supernatural force bestowed on our special guest, Scott Cantrell.
• Potions Lab
  • Will your mixture change colors, fizz, or heat up? Step inside the lab to work on your best potions.
• Candle Making
  • Use what you learned in your transfiguration class to create a candle
• Banish Dementors
  • Use science to eradicate the dementors from the Great Hall
• Bertie Bott Bean Challenge
  • Do you dare accept the Bertie Bott challenge to earn extra house points?
• Holiday House Challenge – All reporting students will be given ample opportunity to collect points for their house. Who will win the most house points at the end of the night?
  • Points will be awarded throughout the night for good deeds, accepted challenges, best Yule ball dress, finding hidden gnomes, good wizard skills, and more.
  • The more you participate in the fun, the higher chance you have of earning points for your house!

All open activities are provided while supplies last.
