Introduce your preschooler to the wonders of science!

Join us Monday mornings for Early Explorers! Preschoolers and their parents can enjoy all the exhibits, attend story time with our staff, and participate in a fun, learning activity. Plus, you have the chance to meet other parents, arrange a play date, or just enjoy having a special time for your curious little one!

April's theme is all about going ... and staying ... green! 

April 5 Story - Where Does the Garbage Go?

Activity: 
Early Explorers will learn about the garbage and recycling streams. They will be able to sort garbage, recycling, and compost into the appropriate bins and learn about how they can make little changes at home to make a big difference in the world.

April 12 Story - How Groundhog's Garden Grew

Activity: 
Early Explorers will learn about all parts of plants including roots, stems, flowers, and fruits in an interactive song and dance. They will get to plant their very own seed!

April 19 Story - 
I am Earth

Activity: 
Early Explorers will make their own chromatography Earth. They will then be able to decorate the earth with all of their favorite things like trees, water, air, animals, and so much more!

April 26 Story - 
What if Everybody Did That?

Activity: 
Early Explorer will learn that working together is better than working alone! They will have the chance to collaborate with one another in order to complete their tasks and they may even make a new friend in the process!
