Originally discovered by Sir William Crookes in 1879, plasma is created through a process called ionization, which adds energy to a gas so that some of its electrons leave its atoms. Step up to our plasma globe where you can use your hands to control the powerful, charged gases kept safely within the glass ball.

Plasma can be found in a multitude of places here on Earth, including in lightning bolts, neon signs and televisions to name a few.
