25 YEARS OF TWISTER

Women make up just 28% of the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) workforce according to the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Since 2003, Adventure Science Center has worked to change that with TWISTER, a one-day STEM conference for high schoolers who identify as girls.

In 25 years, TWISTER has welcomed and inspired more than 3,000 attendees. Over 400 women have volunteered as presenters, sharing what they do and showing girls what’s possible. Join us this February as we celebrate a quarter century of inspiring a lifelong love of STEM.

"I loved how inspired I was after the keynote speaker and panel, and I felt as if I could be as successful and amazing as these women."
