An Out-of-this-world experience
Make any birthday special with a day of science and exploration at Adventure Science Center. Let us celebrate with you by scheduling a Birthday Visit and/or booking a Birthday Party at the science center.
Birthday Visit
Complete the form below to schedule your Birthday Visit at least 2 days before visit. We will need to know which Live Science Show you will be attending (times below), the first name of the birthday child(ren), and their age.
- Birthday child/adult receives free admission. *Must show Photo ID if 16 years or older to receive discount.
- Birthday child/adult receives a shout-out at one of our Live Science demonstrations. (Mon, Thurs, and Fri at 12:30 pm; Sat and Sun at 11:45 am or 1:45 pm)
- Birthday child/adult receives a birthday sticker.
- All other guests must purchase admission onsite or ahead of time online.
*This package does NOT include a room or birthday demonstration/activity. Any gift exchange must occur outside the museum. No outside food/beverage is allowed inside the science center.
Birthday Party
All Birthday Parties must be booked and paid for at least two weeks in advance of the requested date. Complete request form below.
Birthday Party package includes:
- A private Party Room
- An exclusive live demonstration and hands-on activity facilitated by our Learning Specialist
- 15 General Admission tickets (adult/teen or youth ages 2-12). Members always get free admission!
- Birthday party T-shirt for the birthday child (youth sizes only)
Price: $475 non-members | $435 members
Party Room: Use of Jack Wood Hall assembly room or Learning Lab for 1.5 hours (select time below). Host provided 15 additional minutes pre-party for setup and 15 additional minutes post-party for cleanup.
Food/Beverage: Guests are permitted to bring their own cake/cupcakes and bottled water. Any other food or beverage must be purchased through the Subway restaurant on-site. Guests are welcome to eat their own food/beverage outside at our picnic table pavilion.
Choice of Live Demonstration and Guided Activity:
- Astronauts in Training with DIY rockets
- Colorful Chemistry with DIY chromatography butterflies
- Diggin for Dinos with DIY fossils
Included Exhibit Admission Tickets: Package includes 15 admission tickets for either adult or youth birthday party guests. Birthday child receives free admission and is not included in the 15 guest admission tickets. Additional tickets beyond the 15 included must be purchased during booking or upon arrival. Additional tickets receive a $2 discount. All guests must have admission tickets to attend the birthday party and enter Adventure Science Center.
*All Birthday Parties will have a Science Center Host in the room for the duration of the party. The host will welcome guests and lead the demonstration and guided activity.
