Most daytime planetarium shows require member or paid admission to Adventure Science Center before purchase of a planetarium show ticket. However, if you arrive at the Science Center after 3 p.m., you can purchase tickets to any remaining planetarium show without paying general admission.
Or, join us for after-hours shows in the Sudekum Planetarium. A perfect way to start your evening or a great after-dinner date!
Children under the age of 2 may only be admitted to a planetarium show for free if they are seated in an adult's lap. If you wish your child to be seated separately, a separate ticket is required.
At the center of the Turner Theatre is the GOTO Chiron optical star projector that fills the dome with more than 6.5 million stars (a stunning improvement from the 2,400 projected by its predecessor). This breathtakingly realistic night sky is combined with a 4K Digistar 5 fulldome system that projects images and animations of the wonders of the universe from horizon to horizon. No other planetarium in the country offers the seamless integration of these two technologies. The gently sloping seating and powerful 13,000-watt, 5.1 surround sound system give Sudekum guests a unique, immersive, and exhilarating experience.
Yes! Sudekum Planetarium has created original productions for planetariums since 1987. If you're interested in bringing our shows to your planetarium, please get in touch for more information!
