In Collaboration with National Corvette Museum

Adventure Science Center is proud to collaborate with the National Corvette Museum (NCM) in celebration of our 75th Anniversary.

Through a unique partnership, seven Corvettes from NCM’s collection will be on display at the science center from August 28 through November 28, 2021. Corvettes ranging from 1954 to 2019 will chronicle the parallel histories of America’s iconic sports car and the science center.

During the three-month show, the science center will host a number of car-centered events and programs that explore the science and technology of cars and the idea of cars as cultural phenomena. Details below.

A second-floor gallery is dedicated to STEM-inspired interactives. A series of hands-on learning opportunities will allow visitors to utilize engineering design-thinking skills and explore the concepts of speed, friction, and impact.

Join us as we celebrate two icons and the many ways that our cars – and the trips they inspire – help make us who we are.

Submit your road trip pictures (past or recent) here for a chance to be included in our Car Culture Road Trip Slideshow playing in the South Gallery. You can also submit images on social media by tagging @adventuresci and using #CarCultureNash.

Join us throughout the run of Car Culture to explore some local car culture and get up close to some truly extraordinary cars. This car show will take place in the Adventure Science Center upper parking lot.

Saturday, October 16 – 10am-1pm | Performance, Modification, Classic

The Performance category will feature exotic, high-tech car models built in the last 2 years. These cars are built for performance and represent the future of cars.

The Modification category focuses on the most unique vehicles around. Each of these vehicles has been modified from its original state in order to be a true expression of the driver. These are true works of art!

The Classic category celebrates the nostalgia of cars built before 1970 that are in pristine vintage condition.
