Engineered for Destruction is an all-day combat robotics event in partnership with RC Backwoods and Middle Tennessee Robotic Arts Society (MTRAS). Seventeen competitors from across the southeast will come together to battle their uniquely designed robots.
CELEBRATE ENGINEERING DAY WITH A SPECIAL, FREE EVENT
February is engineering month and we're going out with a bang - literally - on Saturday the 25th for a special Engineering Day event called Engineered for Destruction. Engineered for Destruction is an all-day combat robotics event in partnership with Backwoods RC & Middle TN Robotic Arts Society (MTRAS) that will be a blast for all ages.
Drivers are heading into the science center from all across the country to compete. Registration to participate was full within 48 hours, so these drivers are ready to crash - bang - boom!
Viewing is free - and encouraged - with the cost of admission and the battle will be taking place in Jack Wood Hall which is adjacent to the lobby on the first floor.
