Engineered for Destruction

February is engineering month and we're going out with a bang - literally - on Saturday, February 22, for a special event called Engineered for Destruction. Engineered for Destruction is an all-day combat robotics event in partnership with Backwoods RC & Middle TN Robotic Arts Society (MTRAS) that will be a blast for all ages.

Drivers are heading into the science center from across the country to compete. Registration is full and these drivers are ready to crash - bang - boom!

Viewing is free - and encouraged - with the cost of general admission and the battle will be taking place in Solar System Survey on the first floor of the science center.
