Forces of Nature: Disaster Discovery

July 20 - July 24 | For students Rising 6th - Rising 8th Grades

Natural Disaster Science is a hands-on STEM camp where campers explore the physics, chemistry, and geology behind natural disasters through interactive labs and simulations. Campers analyze real-world data, ask testable questions, and design small-scale investigations to better understand how scientists predict and prepare for disasters. Using the engineering design process, your camper will create and test solutions, such as earthquake-resistant structures and flood barriers while learning how scientists, engineers, and architects work together to keep communities safe.
