Looking for a fun night in(side)? This winter, Adventure Science Center will stay open late for guests 18 years and older on the third Thursday of the month.

Want to get crafty in the i2 Makerspace, take a spin in the motion simulator, or catch a planetarium show? This is a great opportunity to enjoy a night of adventure, learning, and fun exclusively for the 18+ crowd that knows how to engage the child in all of us.

In addition to enjoying all the exhibits and interactives included in admission, the following highlighted areas will also be available to explore.

Planetarium Shows ($):

• 5:15 pm -Eclipse: The Sun Revealed (27 min)
  • Get ready for a solar eclipse in April 2024. Why eclipses happen and how to observe them safely.
• 6:15 pm - Nightwatch (30 min)
  • Learn how to locate and identify naked-eye constellations, bright stars, planets, and more in this live show! As the skies above us change with the seasons, so does the Nightwatch experience.
• 7:15 pm - The Colours & The Lasers: Foo Fighters (40 min)
  • Adventure Science Center has made 'Something out of Nothing' with this brand new laser show featuring hits from Foo Fighters! Sit back, jam out, and Learn to Fly while enjoying vibrant lasers synced to hits from Foo Fighters’ legendary rock catalog.

  • Watch our in-house scientists bring science to life in a LIVE demonstration.

Food Trucks:

• Daddy's Dogs
  • Purchase delicious dinner from Daddy's Dogs food truck located just outside the front doors. Seating will be offered inside the science center.
