Our Science in Motion Outreach Vehicle and Learning Specialists are ready to bring STEAM experiences directly to your community, school, or library. All activities meet Tennessee Science Standards. Take me to the reservation form.

Outreach Offerings
STEM Labs & Demonstrations
You provide the classroom space and curious students, and we’ll bring the materials for hands-on inquiry experiences including dissections of real specimens, engineering design challenges, or a stormy demonstration on severe weather.
Pricing & Student Capacity
Hands-on STEM Labs (55 min) | Starting at $250
30 Student Capacity | Price dependent on the number of students and selected dissection specimen.
Demonstrations* (25 min) | Starting at $200
0 - 30 Participants | $200
31 - 75 Participants | $250
Over 75 Participants | $300
*Some demonstrations require an additional materials fee.

Family & Community STEM Events
Hosting a large-scale STEM celebration at your school? We’ll send you our menu of exciting hands-on/minds-on stations, and you can choose which ones we bring to you!
You provide the space, tables, and volunteer assistance, and we will bring the materials and training tools for the volunteers to lead up to 10 stations.
Program Details
- $600 includes 4 stations, Adventure Science Center learning specialist host/lead, materials, training tools, volunteer training, and customized STEM Event Passport.
- Additional stations may be added for $50 each.

Reservation & Cancellation Details
Reservations & Fees
The fees listed by each program is a starting rate. Any applicable materials fees are added to the program fees. Other fees may be charged for additional programs, length and capacity. A mileage fee of $0.66/mile (roundtrip) will be added to the outreach reservation. For outreach reservations over 30 miles roundtrip, a travel fee will be added. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing (email accepted) seven (7) days prior to the date of booking. Cancellations within six (6) days are subject to a $50 administration fee, and applicable mileage and material fees. Cancellations due to weather conditions that close the reserved school system, and which are rescheduled, will not be charged an administration fee.
